How Thankful Are We?

I wonder if we’re thankful,

For our blessings every day,

Or don’t we take for granted,

As good things pass our way?

The food supply’s abundant,

There are always clothes to wear,

And living all about us,

Are those who love and care.

We have the right to choose,

The rulers of our land,

We have the right to worship,

Our God with heart and hand.

So, really are we thankful,

To God in every way?

Let’s count the many blessings,

He sends us day by day.
