You're planning to vote in next week's elections, aren't you? It seems that more and more elections in the U.S. are being described as "the most important of our lifetimes". They are branded as game-changers. In short, elections have consequences, whether for particular candidates, specific parties, or the latest legislative debacles and petition initiatives.
What exactly does our own history have to say about the changes that are currently being made and are already planned for our future? Are we, now, on track to change the direction of our great nation for the better or for the worse? Is this what the founders intended for us to be talking about in the 21st Century? Hear the evidence for yourself at the FREE 5-part seminar, The Silencing of God, this Veterans Day weekend, at the Holiday Inn in Joplin.
The Silencing of God Seminar is designed to awaken Americans and Christians to the urgent need to recall our nation from the moral and spiritual depths to which she has plunged. This free seminar will begin on Friday, November 7 at 7pm, and will continue on Saturday, November 8 at 10:00, 11:00, 1:00, and 2:00.
The time has come for Christians to stand up and be counted in this crucial war of conflicting ideologies. The future of the nation is at stake. “The Silencing of God” seminar is designed to awaken Christians to the urgent need to recall our nation from the moral and spiritual depths to which she has plunged. It issues a stirring call to reaffirm the biblical values that are being systematically stripped from our public life. It offers practical suggestions on how to reclaim our nation in hopes of averting moral and spiritual disaster. You are invited to attend this extremely critical presentation and see the evidence for yourself. The time to act is now.
Dr. Dave Miller will present this seminar in five different parts, this Veterans Day weekend, Friday November 7 at 7pm, and Saturday, November 8 at 10:00, 11:00, 1:00, and 2:00, at the Holiday Inn on Range Line, in Joplin.
From the beginning of the country, blue laws forbade working on Sunday—in order for citizens to give attention to the worship of God. National monuments, memorials, and government buildings throughout our nation’s capitol are riddled with references to God and the Bible. Both the federal Constitution as well as the original state constitutions acknowledge the critical role that God and Christ play in the stability of civilization. God is on our money, in our pledge, and on our national seal. At one time, public schools taught the Bible as part of the curriculum. The evidence for America’s original Christian heritage is staggering and massive.
