We were going to resume the Tuesday
class on the 5th.But God
sent snow and only one student showed up.So now the plan is to resume the class on the 12th (Lord
willing, of course).This means that
we’ve not yet started our study of Isaiah.[In other words, if you didn’t come on the 5th, you haven’t
missed anything.]This study of Isaiah
is actually going to be a summary of Isaiah.We won’t read every verse in class.Rather we’ll read some verses in class, and other verses I’ll simply
give you a summary of.Thus, we will be
moving pretty quickly through the book.[We will also be filling out a workbook written by our brother David
Padfield.As always, each student will
receive a workbook, free of charge.]If
you plan on attending the class, I encourage you to start reading Isaiah on
your own.You might read a one or two
chapters a day.But even if you don’t
read ahead (and I won’t ask you if you have), please come to the class.Remember, everyone is welcome—both men and
women.
